“Fund” injection into Real Estate

REIF’s that include all kinds of real estate in their portfolio, from housing, offices, shopping malls and land plots, to hospitals, seem likely to become popular investment tools in the upcoming period.
The real estate investment funds obtained a legal infrastructure with the CMB’s decree of 2014, the real estates included in their portfolios will shortly become the most talked about instruments. 
Erktin indicates that investors will find opportunities to simultaneously invest in multiple real estates with their savings thanks to real estate investment funds, and remarks that these will be spread to various locations in Turkey. With the establishment of funds, interest is expected from foreign investors as well. While asserting that he does not expect a decline regarding real estate prices, Erktin says that the number of developers may decrease.
