“New Financial Solutions and Risk Management in Turkish Real Estate” panel hosted at CNR Real Estate Expo

Safe investment tools in the real estate sector were discussed in detail at CNR Real Estate Expo. Speaking at the panel ‘New Financial Solutions and Risk Management in Turkish Real Estate’, Omurga Capital Partners Investment Director İlhami Akkum said that real estate investment funds (REIF’s) are alternative investment tools for investors who would like to get a small share of large commercial projects. 

Informing on real estate investment funds in his speech, İlhami Akkum pointed out that REIF’s are standing out with features such as professional management and independent valuation. Akkum added, “The real estate in the portfolio is kept in compliance with the rules set by the CMB (Capital Markets Board), and cannot be confiscated. Independent risk management is performed. Thus, providing a completely legitimate and safe opportunity for the investor who would like to acquire a small share of large commercial projects.  Foreign investors, especially those seeking a safe harbor, should invest in REIF’s.”
